True tales... ripped from the pages of real life! Mortified stars everyday adults sharing their most embarrassingly real teenage diary entries, poems, love letters, lyrics and locker notes... in front of total strangers.

Part comedy, part theater, part therapy. Fueled by strong word-of-mouth, Mortified has been embraced by fans across the nation with constant sold-out live events in various cities (LA, NYC, SF, Boston, etc). Now, Mortified is launching a new chapter in our nation's capital, featuring a distinct lineup of local performers - it's never the same show twice!

Join us for the Washington DC premiere on Tuesday November 6, 2007 at 8pm!

THE DEETS

What: Mortified Washington DC - Premiere Performance!

When: Tuesday November 6 , 2007 at 8pm (doors at 7pm - note, 21 and over ONLY)

Location: HR-57 , 1610 14th Street NW, Washington DC 20009 (Note: HR-57 does serve drinks and a limited menu, but you can also BYOB for a $3 corking fee!)

Cost: $12 in advance, $15 day of show (all tickets are for general seating - all tickets are non-refundable)

Note: a portion of the proceeds from the Mortified DC premiere will go to Mortified's AngstGiving charity fund, raising money for 826 National, a family of nonprofit organizations dedicated to teaching inner city kids, ages 6-18, expository and creative writing. Basically, they train today's kids to become better writers...so they don't grow up and perform in Mortified.

Get up close and personal with the show that's been hailed as a "cultural phenomenon" by Newsweek and celebrated by the likes of This American Life, The Today Show, The Onion AV Club, Entertainment Weekly, Esquire, Jane, Daily Candy and more!

Real words. Real people. Real pathetic. Share the shame. Get Mortified.
